    Bob suggests the following tests to investigate the high deadtime
    (10% for 500 Hz) observed on the left arm.

    He checked the software, which looks OK and suggested a couple of tests:

    > 1. Try running with ps3=1 and ps4 and ps8 infinite. E.g. T4 might
    > be multiple pulsing at the scaler.

    > 2. Try running with ps8=2 and ps3,ps4 infinite. This is pulser and
    > the DT should be zero. If not, there could be a network issue.

    > 3. Could take access and look at inputs to the scaler; should see
    > no after-pulsing. However, I don't remember there being a problem
    > during cosmics.
