Calorimeter Run Procedure

1. Call MCC and request a Calorimeter run for ___ uA.
  a) Tell them they _must_ call you back and ask you to start logging
     _before_ they deliver beam onto the calorimeter slug.

2. When MCC should set up for the requested current then call you and ask
that you start logging:
    a) Start the DVM logging (Hall A Main Menu: BCM: BCM Logging)
      - NOTE: The BCM run number will not increment until after you stop
the logging.
    b) Start your CODA runs.  Change the run type in the Start-Run pop-up
to "BCM Calibration".

3. Watch the beam current monitor.  You should see it go from zero to the
   requested current.  The run should take roughly 5--10 minutes.  MCC
should call
   when it's over.

4. MCC will call and tell you it is over.  If the current goes to zero
and MCC
  has not called after a few minutes, call them and confirm that the
Calorimeter
  run was successful.  Then
    a) Stop the DVM logging and note the run number (ie: BcmLog_XXX )
    b) Stop the CODA runs and note the run numbers

5. Make a HALOG entry titled 'Calorimeter run: XXX uA' that lists the files
  from 4(a) and 4(b).

5. Continue with the regular program.
    a) change the run type back to "Production" (or whatever you're doing)
    b) do a raster++ check as soon as beam comes back
