Todo List for Wednesday SWING, Thursday OWL- Check Beamline equipment: OTR, 1C12 SLI, BCMs, Harp scanner function, FFB
- Start up the Compton DAQ and monitor the gamma rates - stripchart the gamma rate along with the beam current -- halog it - NOTE: the electron detector is disabled, it should read zero
- Bull's Eye scan (requires Harp 1H03B to be working)
- Raster check out: - go to single carbon foil, ask for 5 uA centered at 0,0 - ask for raster 1x1, take a run and do a spot++, halog result along with trigger rates - ask for raster 2x2, take a run and do a spot++, halog result along with trigger rates Now you're going to watch for the trigger rates to jump, when you see them rise, then halog the result and you're finished this test (don't got to the next bigger raster). If MCC can't get to the bigger raster then stop the test. - ask for raster 4x4, take a run and do a spot++, halog result - ask for raster 8x8, take a run and do a spot++, halog result - ask for raster 12x12, take a run and do a spot++, halog result - ask for raster 16x16, take a run and do a spot++, halog result - stop here
- RHRS calibration data (prescale so deadtimes are < 20%) - request 10 uA from MCC, beam at 0,0 raster OFF - take data on single carbon foil until you have a nice ADC spectrum in the preshower and shower blocks (~30 minutes) - take data on optics target (~30 minutes)
- Check the whiteboard for anything that is new or missing from this list.
When the above items are completed page JP Chen and Seonho (numbers on whiteboard). Describe what's been done, and confirm that we no longer want the beam. If we're done then request that we go to Controlled Access. JP and Seonho will come in to work on the NaI detector until morning.
