keyword=Right DipoleDuring Monday's attempt to measure the right dipole time constant I did manage to get about 20 minutes worth of data. That data indicates that the time constant for the right dipole is 15 minutes (fig 1). This is actually a small improvement over the 18.5 minutes it was last May (fig 2)(but at a smaller current). The message is that whatever is going on it's not the magnet itself.
