    keyword=Right Q1 Current is Railing

    The right Q1 liquid level displayed “inf” on the tools GUI, but was correct on the cryo page. We rebooted the right IOC, no joy. We cycled power on the magnet, no joy. We entered the hall and cycled the power supply locally. When we turned the power supply on the current railed, we had a DC over current, and a cryogenic fault. We troubleshot the cryo fault and discovered a loose lead flow cable and a board (TI) in the Saclay rack was not seated properly. Cryo faults fixed. We swapped the DAC in the magnet power supply, no joy. We swapped the motherboard, and all faults cleared. Bonus…the current offset problem was also corrected. We measured the liquid level read back voltage at the output of the Wiedmuller and it was good. We ran out of time to troubleshoot the original “inf” fault. We will continue troubleshooting during our next opening.
