16:00 Start shift with beam being restored after ~2hr downtime.
Set up for pL = pR = 698.985 MeV/c. LH2+Pb target.
We later discover that the BPMB Y position was off (-0.5mm)
because the orbit lock was not engaged.
16:20 Start pR -> 651.627 MeV/c.
16:50 Discovered orbit lock problem. Asked MCC to correct. Beam
position is within spec from this point on.
16:58 Start pR -> 566.465 MeV/c.
17:45 Beam off for "15-20 minutes" to bring Hall C up.
Start pR -> 492.433 MeV/c.
18:10 Moving target to 15cm LH2 to investigate strange asymmetry of
raster pattern seen with Pb target in some of today's runs.
18:36 Beam back. 50uA on 15cm LH2 target.
19:00 Target back to Pb+LH2
19:15 pR -> 428.08 MeV/c
19:35 Beam gone for Hall B tuning.
19:43 Beam returns.
20:20 After final right arm data taking on Pb, set back pR = 698.895.
Cycle HRS-R Q2 and Q3.
20:35 Finished with Pb target. Moving target to 15cm LH2. HRS-L to
pL = 698.895 MeV/c. Cycling Q2/3.
20:52 Start data taking on LH2.
21:05 pR -> 651.627 MeV/c
21:35 HRS-R dipole appears to have gone into safety shutdown. It will
probably take hours to restart it. We don't expect more right
arm data for this shift.
23:05-23:30 various attempts to restart HRSR dipole, finally
successful.
23:50 End data taking on LH2. Moving back to pL = pR = 651.627 MeV/c
to do the remaining targets. Cycling HRSL Q2/Q3.
