On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the cavity BPM receivers were installed in Hall A. During this period, the signal cables for the BPM and Raster were unplugged for Antenna #3 (BPMA) and Antenna #3 (BMPB) for the left HRS. Also the cables for the raster slopes were also relocated.

During the access today, I reconnected the signal cables for BPMA and BPMB antenna # 3, which are plugged into patch panel A12 and A13 respectively. The raster currents appear to be plugged in correctly. I reconnected the raster x deriv. and raster y deriv. cables to channels A26 and A27 respectively. Then I used a 'T' connector to branch off to A10 and A11 for the left spectrometer. Since I do not know exactly how these were connected before, they should be checked by Bob Michaels. In fixing the BPM/raster signals, I completely unconnected the cables for the cavity monintors. The following channels are not being used in this patch panel, A14, A15, A28 to A31 and can be used for the cavity monitors.

Finally in troubleshooting the problem, Alexandre added a new attenutator module in the left spectrometer and moved BPMA attenna # 1, 2 and 3 to this new module. The signal from antenna # 3 was saturating the ADC. So I adjusted the attentuator to provide an output of 0.08 V. I also adjusted the attentuator slightly for antenna #2, since it was about 0.130 V.
