Listed below are the periods of time that BPMA and BPMB read-out for
the LHRS was impaired by one or more ways.
Pre-Access on November 7, 2007:
- Runs before and including 2088 are fine.
Controlled Access on Nov. 7, 2007 (Day shift):
- Run numbers 2089 to 2110 BPMA and BPMB Antenna # 3 cables were
unplugged to the LHRS.
Controlled Access on Nov. 9, 2007 (Owl shift):
- Run numbers 2111 to 2123 BPMA and BPMB Antenna # 3 cable
were still unplugged to the LHRS.
- Alexandre added a new attenuator box to the LHRS crate and
connected the signal cables for BPMA Antenna #1, 2, and 3 to
this new module.
- During this period, the BPMA antenna #2 signal was saturated.
- The signal from BPMA antenna #1 is also affected, since the
attenuation and offset were not adjusted.
Controlled Access on Nov. 9, 2007 (Day shift):
- Run numbers 2124 to 2128 were cosmics tests for the BPM signals.
- BPMA and BPMB Antenna #3 cables were reconnected.
- The attenuation for BPMA antennas 2 and 3 were adjusted to match
the outputs from the other antenuator modules, 0.08 volts.
- The offsets were not adjusted for antennas 1, 2 or 3 (BPMA).
- Run numbers 2129 to 2329 have an offset problem for BPMA.
Controlled Access on Nov. 12, 2007 (Swing shift):
- All run numbers starting from 2330.
- The BPMA antennas 1, 2 and 3 are reconnected to the original
attenuator box with correct settings for the attenuation and
offsets.
