keyword=Cavity Monitors Added to RHRS DAQ

I have completed connecting the cavity monitor signals to the right HRS
DAQ. There are three signals for the upstream and downstream cavity
    monitors:

    1) Intensity
    2) X position
    3) Y position

In the right HRS, the six signals come from downstairs to the patch panel
in electronics rack, HRSE_RR5. These signals then go up to the HAPPEX
DAQ. I have tee'd a copy of the signal to the BPM/raster VME module,
where I have added two attenuator modules to invert and attenuate the
voltage signal to less than 50 mV. These signals are then sent to an
ADC, which is read out by the RHRS DAQ.

The signals arrive in the patch panel as follows (counting left-to-right):

Patch Panel Description VME Slot Input Output (mV)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    10 Upstream intensity 6 1 -20.1
    11 Upstream X position 6 3 -43.6
    12 Upstream Y position 6 4 -29.8
    13 Downstream intensity 5 1 -19.9
    14 Downstream X position 5 2 -19.4
    15 Downstream Y position 5 3 -21.0

The upstream signals plug into the attenuator module in the sixth slot
from the right side of the VME crate. The downstream signals plug into
the fifth slot. The inputs are indicated in the table above. The
offset and attenuator settings were adjusted so that output signal was
    less than 50 mV.

    Notes:

    1) For the second input of slot 6, I could not obtain an output signal
less than 54 mV; hence, I did not use this channel.
    2) For the intensity signals, the input voltage was about zero without
beam, so the settings for these signals may need to be adjusted.
    3) For the third and fourth inputs of slot 6, the attenuator and offset
settings are at the end of their ranges and the output signal cannot
    be further attenuated.

The outputs from the attenuators then connect to six RG-58 cables, which
then connect to a black signal ribbon cable. This ribbon cable is
plugged into the ADC in ROC 2, slot 23, channels 16-31. The upstream
and downstream signals correspond to the following ADC channels:

    ADC Channel Description
    ----------------------------------
    16 Upstream intensity
    17 Upstream X position
    18 Upstream Y position
    19 Downstream intensity
    20 Downstream X position
    21 Downstream Y position
