Followups:
keyword=scaler problems / prob. solns.
I noticed some problems in scalers:
Left HRS helicity-gated scalers are counting ~0.75% of the
non-helicity scaler. Most likely, the gate from MPS is flipped
in polarity. This means it vetos instead of gates (the blank-off
time is 1.5%, then this gets shared by two helicities). Solution
would be to take access, check polarity, and flip it.
Right HRS helicity-gated scalers are ok, so you can imitate that.
There was a bogus-looking data point at the end of the file.
I think it's because of a bug in ~a-onl/scripts/last_scaler
that I used "-d" instead of "-x" as we historically have done.
I fixed this at about 10:25 pm, so we'll see if that makes the
last point normal. If I'm right the last point is recoverable
(must transform base 10 to base 16, or something like that).
Otherwise things look ok but I'll come in tomorrow to check some
more. At some point the experiment should check if it can normalize
the data, if/when you are the stage of caring.
