    keyword=Discrepancies between L_HRS and BigBite scalers

    Xin pointed out that there are some differences between L_HRS and BigBite scaler counts for triggers T2, T6, and T7. It looks like L_HRS scaler channels for the above mentioned trigger are counting twice when compared with BigBite, for all the gated scalers(see below). Ungated ones are fine.

    T2, T6, and T7 should all count the same, since the HV on BigBite is turned off and they all are triggering on edtm pulser. From the summary below, it is indeed the case for the "bbite" scalers but not for the "left".

    Note : On left arm, for T7, (+-) and (--) counts match with bbite whereas (++) counts twice and (-+) is completely different from bbite.

    I will check them tomorrow when the hall opens and see whats is causing this double counts on these triggers.
