During the access today, I checked the scaler channels on L_HRS for triggers T2 , T6 and T7 that were problematic(double counting..see ref log entry). Here is the summary.
1. The signals on the ECL-NIM converter do not show any double pulse.
2. If I swap T1(good) with T2(problem) signal on the ECL-NIM converter, the scaler shows correct counts on both the triggers and consistent with BigBite (run 2268).
3. Step 2 is true when done separately with T6(run 2272) and T7(run2276) - (I always swapped with T1).
4. On the scope the signals were about 25ns wide, so.. on Brad's suggestion I increased the width to 60ns. That only fixed T7 which is now consistent with BigBite - T2 and T6 are still bad.(run 2284)
5. At this point I decided to use completely different copies of T2, T6 and T7 that I am sending to L_HRS(these are not being used..nobody knows about it anyway) on the same ribbon cable that carries other triggers. This helped fix all triggers except T2(-+) and T6(++) combination. (run 2288)
I didn't time to investigate further as target folks took over the hall for laser alignment. I'll check them later.
