keyword=ref. cell pressure curve study
Access finished about 4:30
Yi Qiang and target crew say we can take beam.
Start doing the He3 ref cell pressure curve.
Time .... Run .... Pressure
05:05 ... 2561 .... "0"
I doubt it matters, but I start a HAPPEX run (can check Lumi ?)
05:13 ... 30351 (HAPPEX)
05:20 Abort run 2561. Yi Qiang says he needs access.
Then 5 min later it's decided we don't need access.
(Separate explanation from target experts coming.)
05:36 .... 2562 ... "0" again (short run)
05:45 .... 30352 (HAPPEX restarted)
05:46 .... 2563 .... pressure 654 Torr gauge. Somewhat mysteriously
this is the highest pressure we could go to. Separate halog from
Stepanyan about that.
During run 2563 the pressure drifted up to 776 Torr.
06:22 .... 2564 ... and HAPPEX 30353. P = 776 Torr.
At this point we're somewhat stuck.
Target guys don't want us to put in polarized He3 cell (we asked).
The pressure doesn't go up further.
We can't vent.
Ask RC, he said he'd call back if he had ideas.
So I play with Lumi detector ... and let run 2564 continue.
