keyword=BPM and Raster WorkWith Elaine's help, I restored the BPM and raster readouts to similar
values that we have used for the past several years.
1) I changed the ADC gate for the 1881 in ROC 4, Slot 21 from 250 ns to
50 ns. Actually the work was already done, all I needed to do was
connect the correct input to the ADC gate cable.
2) After the gate change, I adjusted the attenuation/offset settings for
the raster and BPM signals.
Figure 1 shows the raster pattern after the gate change. Figures 2 and 3
show the BPM A and B raw antenna signals after the gate change. The
plots are from run 2974. These plots are before Step 2. All the BPM
signals are at low channels and the raster, which was set to 4 by 4.5 in
MCC units, was clipping at the low end.
