    Entry number 253777

    This entry is a followup to: 253748

    keyword=pvdis (parasitic) work III

    The earlier entry 253764 which had 1.2 kHz rate had all prescale factors set to 1, i.e.,
    ps1=1,ps2=1,ps3=1,ps4=1,ps5=1,ps6=1,ps7=1,ps8=1

    When the prescale factors are set like this:
    ps1=9999,ps2=9999,ps3=9999,ps4=9999,ps5=9999,ps6=9999,ps7=9999,ps8=1
    we re-visit the 11 Hz DAQ rate (see Fig 1 below). I believe it is not the issue of veto signal for the right hrs data, it is something else to see only 12 Hz of S1&S2 singnal.

    The high-voltage setting for the detectors are as follows:
    S1, S2: 2000 V
    Gas-cherenkov: 1600 V
    Preshower, Shower: 1000 V

    The HV-mapping of all right HRS detectors is here:
    http://www.jlab.org/~rsubedi/PVDIS/showerPreshower/showerHVmapping.pdf

    Here are some histograms of the detectors:
    http://www.jlab.org/~rsubedi/PVDIS/Dec_17_2008/

    S1 ADCs/TDCs are fine (visible). I do not see S2 ADC signal, but S2 TDCs are there. The Gas-cherenkov signal is also missing. Preshower signals are there. Only few channels of shower signals are visible.

    These signal behaviour is the same whether the veto signal was flipped or not.

    After flipping the veto signal, the PVDIS DAQ signals appear explianable (but needs more work).
