keyword=Update on RTD 7Chiranjib and Yi' opened the target enclosure and checked the RTD condition and both RTD inside oven are still tapped well in position. So I decided to heat up the oven again, and see whether the RTD 7 is still usable. As you see in the plot, once the temperature reaches 100 C, RTD 7 becomes open (gives 1000 C reading). My theory is that the solder is completely gone and the only binding of the RTD and the wire is the shrink tube. When temperature increases, the shrink tube gets softer and the RTD may become open at only about 100 C. Anyway, the reading from RTD 7 is no more useful, but I don't think it's necessary for us to replace it as long as another RTD 6 is working.
