keyword=Target Direction in d2n DataTarget polarization direction is sent into d2n data stream through LHRS ADCs. One can check the signal validity and direction in the online plots as below.
The advantage of this signal are:
1. The signal is maintained by target expert, which is a reliable target direction stamp on each event
2. If TO accidentally did a NMR within a production run (target spin will flip twice during the process), those events will be automatically stampped "unkown target spin" during the NMR.
The definition convention follows standard Hall CS:
