keyword=C12 elastic kinematics with detailed energy loss.

For C12 elastic optics, should be:

    1. +3%: P_HRS=1.27703 2. 0%: P_HRS=1.23984 3. -3%: P_HRS=1.20264

    Details:

    1. Beam energy: (Tiefenbach) (HALLA:p) : 1247.25

    2. Energy loss on the way in to the middle C12 foil, pass through material: i. 10 mil Be window. ii. 51.6 cm Air, iii. 0.5 mm thick BeO (rho=3.010 g/cm^3) at 45 degree. iv. three and half C12 foil, each 50 mg/cm^2.

electron average energy loss (dE/dx)_min=1.755 MeV/g/cm^2 total energy loss on the way in, before hit the center of mid-foil 0.874 MeV.

    3. Elastic scattering on C12 (M_A=11.17471 GeV), at 17 degree, right after scattering, Ef=1240.335 MeV.

    4. Energy loss on the way to reach HRS,

    i. Air 165.7 cm. ii. target enclosure, 0.010" G-10 ignore other windows etc. energy loss on the way out: 0.5 MeV.

    5. So central setting for C12 elastic should be: P_HRS=1239.835 MeV.

H(e,e') and other kinematics to follow later.
