    keyword=Serious RIGHT-DAQ problem

    In the beginning we noticed that the dead time for the RIGHT-DAQ went from 0% to 22% and then up to 100%. Then the "ROC-8 no responding" error appeared. We have decided to stop LEFT coda, kill Right coda and restart it. When we tried to do that, the error appeared that there is no more disk space left on the device. The problem with disk space also appeared in the end-of-run file of the left-coda.

    I have contacted Brad and told him about this problem. He explained to me that the "home" directory is full and he is going to clean it. After that we restarted the RIGHT-DAQ and started the both runs. However, the both DAQs reported the "AUTOMATIC START OF CODA FAIL". Therefore we have decided to kill both codas again, restarted them and started new runs again. This time we did it more slowly. We didn't pressed both start-run buttons quickly one after another but first started the RIGHT-DAQ, than waited a while so that the start-of-run window appeared for the left arm and than started the LEFT DAQ. This time it worked.

    I believe that the last crash happened because we started the both codas to quickly. We should probably always start the right-daq first, wait a while and then start the left daq.

    Now we are again running normally. Dead time is 2% for LEFT-DAQ and 0% for the RIGHT-DAQ. Current run numbers (after the crash) are: #1605 and $20475
