keyword=NMR Cross Calibration of Vertical and Transverse
This test is done with all lasers OFF and the calibration is for pumping
chamber pickup coil.
NMR#1: 10:47: Vertical- 20.98 mV (X ch)
NMR#2: 10:50: Transverse- 34.81 mV (total of X and Y ch)
NMR#3: 10:52: Vertical- 20.20 mV (X ch)
NMR#4: 10:54: Transverse+ 31.98 mV (total)
NMR#5: 10:57: Vertical- 19.84 mV (X ch)
NMR#6: 10:59: Transverse- 32.88 mV (X ch)
I will use the Transverse - as our transverse field direction due to its
slightly better NMR shape and field strength.
So the NMR relation between Vertical- and Transverse- is calculate as
following:
use NMR#1/2/3: NMR_v/NMV_t = (20.98+20.20)/2/34.81 = 0.5915
use NMR#1/3/5/6: NMR_v/NMR_t = 19.84*(20.98+20.20)/2/20.98/32.88 = 0.5922
take an average: NMR_v/NMR_t = 0.592
NMR#1: Vertical-

NMR#2: Transverse-

NMR#3: Vertical-

NMR#4: Transverse+

NMR#5: Vertical-

NMR#6: Transverse-
