EVENTS
00:10 Called MCC and asked for 2uA beam with raster (2x2mm)
We don't know the correct MCC units so we asked for
tested following MCC units (3.25 x 3.25MCC)
00:20 Called MCC and asled for 2uA beam with raster (6x6)mm.
In our calculation this is (9.75x9.75) in MCC units.
00:30 T3 rates for beam with different raster sizes match
within 10%. Called MCC and asked for production beam
i.e. 6uA with raster (4x4mm) = (6.5 x 6.5 MCC).
00:42 MCC has problems with beam. It keeps tripping.
00:44 The ND HV channel L6.3 tripped. Turned the whole
slot off and on again. It looks normal again.
00:50 Starting a test run before production in order to
check raster (4x4), to test rates and to make
a lumi HV calibration (Xiaoyan).
01:05 HAPPEX DAQ crashed. Experts are trying to resolve the
problem.
01:08 The ND HV channel L6.4 tripped. Turned the whole
slot off and on again. It looks normal again.
01:25 Experts are still having problems with the HAPPEX DAQ.
They report that the ROC 28 has died and that they can
not reboot it. I have paged Peter (RC) and he suggested
to page Bryan. We are not taking any production data so
far.
02:00 Bryan solved the problem with the HAPPEX DAQ and made it
running again.
02:37 Experts are adjusting the HV for the LUMI. They need to
change the HV for all of the channels since we went from
1st pass beam to 3rd pass beam.
02:55 Experts have set the HV for the LUMI. Started a new HAPPEX
run #31294.
02:58 Start taking production data.
06:15 Almost at the end og the run #1689 the ROC3 crashed. We
rebooted it. Then we have restarted coda and continued
with the data taking.
06:45 MCC called and informed us that they will take a beam away
for a few minutes because they need to make an optics check.
07:00 When the beam came back after the OPICS studies we have
observed that the beam current was smaller (5.2 uA) than
desired. I have called MCC and he told me that they have
some problems at the injector and that the beam current
will be slowly dropping until injector people come in and
fix the problem. Run numbers of runs taken during this
time are: #1691 and #20584.
07:09 We started new HAPPEX run : #31295
07:42 MCC called and said that they will take a beam away so that
they can move the spot.
