    keyword=Spectrometer Motion Problems (Late Entry)

    Today prior to the pass change, Doug and I went to the hall to move the
    left and right HRS to 17 degrees. First we could not get the left HRS
    bogie controls window to open. After rebooting and power cycling the VME
    crate, we could get the window to open, but the GUI was completely black
    and an error message would pop up. We noticed that the VME bus board
    2311 had it's 'FAIL' lit up.

    We consulted with Ed Folts and Scot Spiegel about the problem. Scot
    said that we needed to also power cycle the bogies themselves. After
    Scot did this, the rear bogie relay was no longer responsive and needs
    to be replaced. Doug decided that he was fine with leaving the left HRS
    at 12.5 degrees. So the repair will wait until Monday.

    After we moved the right HRS to 17 degrees, Doug and I removed the 2311
    VME bus board from the right HRS VME crate. Unfortunately when we
    replaced the board, the 'FAIL' LED was also illuminated. Hence the
    right HRS is currently unmovable from 17 degrees.
