For comparison, I've included the H2 target dists from run 4382 (Figure 2).
We certainly should consider the placement of the Al background events; to further de-emphasize the background events we could move the hapdet further in negative y and/or rotate to greater yaw angle. We could also consider decreasing Po to shift more of the higher rate Al bkgd blob off the hapdet; I estimate we have at least 10cm we could push the super-elastic edge toward the pmt.
Note that in these plots, the box outline has been shifted to negative y by 2cm relative to previous plots (to be consistent with the changes made during the access).
