    4:00 controlled access. waiting for beam back.

    6:00 Beam back, and ask for 0.5 uA beam to study the raster size.

    6:05 spot++ study is fine. We ask for 20 uA beam and going to increase it step by step to study the maxium current we can stand.

    6:10 Detectors (VDC actually) flammable gas sensor is alarming. Jack comes here to fix the problem, and said that it is just a glitch, and next time when it alarms, trying to click "ACCEPT RESET" button to see whether it works.

    6:30 start a new run at 60uA.

    6:40 start a new run at 80uA.

    6:50 MCC called that their ion chambers have problems when going to the 80uA. They can provide stable 70uA beam and is trying to increase it little by little.

    7:00 ask MCC to try 90uA

    7:30 MCC called that they have problem to reach 90uA. so we peg the beam at 60uA to take data.

    9:00 We ran a quick raster scan. Pegged current at 5uA and change raster size from 7.7*6 (3.5*3.5)->7.7*8 (3.5*4.5)->11*8.5 (5*4.5) in MCC units (in our units).

    10:00 MCC cannot reach 80uA. So we are taking the data at 70uA.

    10:05 change raster size to 7.7*6.0 (MCC), 70uA

    11:00 change raster size to 7.7*8.0 (MCC), 70uA
    Currently, the highest stable current MCC can provide is 70uA.

    PS: We didn't take data for nearly one hour from 22:45 to 23:30, because MCC is trying again to see if they can reach 80uA, during which the beam trips very oftern. But they failed finally. We also spend some time to adjust the raster size to get the optimal one.
