    Here's some practical advice, maybe it will help:

    1. One cannot telnet into hatsv18 as root. Don't know why. But to bump
    off another user, you can find the "telnet hatsv18 2004" in the process
    list and "kill -9" that.

    2. Better, leave one window dedicated to "telnet hatsv18 2004" and leave
    it forever. Likewise for Qweak crate if you care about it.

    3. When rebooting, watch the printouts. If something is not found or
    something crashes, make a note in Halog. Type "i" to see the process
    list and note if all servers are running.

    4. VME crates : check for power. Green lights or ask a tech to check.
