    keyword=day shift summary

    Most of the shift was used by MCC to tune the beam transport trying to improve Compton background.
    Issues at the end of the shift with cryogen supply in the HRS quadrupoles, still needs to be solve. The experts are on board.

    Timeline:
    8:00 : started shift with data taking in progress
    9:30 - 9:45 : beam current rapid sweeps at Kent's request a little bit of it at the end of run 12226 and then at the beginning of run 12227 (see entry 289091)
    9:45: go to 50 uA for 5 minutes to asses the large widths of the lumi (see entry 289088)
    9:50: Compton tuning. pretty rough beam
    10:00: loosing beam in the Hall : the beam tuning happens upstream
    13:30 LQ1 turns itself off on a He empty fault, Heidi comes up, she takes an opportunitics access while tuning is still going on.
    16:00 still waiting for beam to be tune, still in controlled access with magnet problems.
