    keyword=Compton's looking good

    Suddenly Compton rates are looking great! We are running at HV=-1875 and background is 100Hz/uA and signal is 650Hz/uA from compton:RATE_G. Hooray! We're set to take production data tonight.

    It looks like the blue EPICS variable compton:RATE_G is quite dependant on varibles that aren't well understood that go into the Saclay DAQ, whereas the new EPICS variable ComptonCentralRate (the pink one) comes directly from the CMU scaler and is more reliable. Good rates from ComptonCentralRate are 106k for laser on and 72k laser off at 100uA (this variable is not normalized to beam current).
