keyword=pion path on the left has problem1. The rate in all pion channels are much larger than before.
2. The rate in wide path is twice or third times larger than that of narrow. (Fig.1)
The reason is because we adjust the GC width from 50ns to be 40ns the day before yesterday which caused the pion VETO nonfunctional as what we saw in the beginning of the experiment. (Fig.2, top 3rd plot)
I don't know if it is for the study of the deadtime effect that we intentially sacrifice the pion acquisition. However, since nobody inform me that and this is apparently an error here, so my decision is: as we are going to flip the half wave plate soon, I will still leave it as it was until the end of this slug so that we can at least have some data to study the deadtime effect due to the change of the GC width. And I will call for an access to change the width back to before in the beginning of next slug.
