Since I always feel like a layperson on this project, I'll
give a simple summary of what we did and what we think

1. Didn't see a photon signal with the slits closed. Wouldn't
expect electron signal in that case either. But did see it with
5 uA and slits open.

2. Saw 80 kHz "halo" background in Edet. Alex is posting the plots.
Expected signal ~600 Hz. No correlation of laser on/off.

For another day ...

May try adjusting the phase of the laser. Maybe the halo comes
from some part of the bunch and we picked the wrong part ? (B. Quinn)

Maybe the vacuum is still bad and we're getting halo from that.

We may want to tune at the injector with this config and using
the Edet rate as a signal to feedback on.

We need to re-establish photon signal with slit closed. Once we
have those, coincidences may help clean up the Edet.

Much head-scratching going on ...
