    Because of Wouter's concern, I paged JP. JP points out that the target temperature is actually rather stable before and after beam trips, with excursions of magnitude less than about 0.2 K, and more typically 0.1 K which is pretty darn good - so we should not worry. We do check that beam compensation is enabled for the Loop 1 heater control, and indeed it is.

    I will keep a close eye on the high power heater performance anyways.
