At the beginning of Saturday swing shift, beam was down for replacement
of the power supply for RSEP9A; this is the seperator for the
five-pass recirculation arc.
About 17:30, beam restoration was complete, and we began our
beam recovery procedure.
See HALog
306471 for the harp scans, and HALog
306473
and
306478
for the online Q^2 histograms from runs 26177 and 5690; HALog
306473 has the full run histograms.
Production running on SLUG 22 resumed at 18:30.
Sunday owl continued production. Trip rates at the beginning of the
shift were high; reducing the beam current to 100 uA from 105 uA lowered
the number of trips significantly.
Early in day shift, iocha4, which controls the LHRS reset lines and the
VDCs, stopped responding.
We continued data collection, only resetting the IOC late in the day
shift.
We achieved 17.6
hours of ABU from Saturday swing through the end of Sunday day.
At the end of Sunday day, SLUG 22 had 858.0k good pairs (as of run
14617).
Run Plan
- Continue taking production data on the LD2 target.
- The IHWP will need to be flipped (and the flipper script run) when we
get 10^6 good pairs.
Shift crew should speak with Hall B and determine a specific time about
4 hours before it needs to happen.
Be sure you have an expert available to do the flip at that time.
Call the RC if there are problems.
- We will plan on doing the BCM calibration run during the day on Monday,
and the boiling study on Tuesday.

(
here is a great example)
and submit the BTA for each shift.
Please log CODA reboots in the halog and shift summary.
- 3rd person: Please make sure to start and stop the HRS DAQ at the
same time as
the parity DAQ and to do the prompt analysis and the HRS analyzer
for every run.
- 3rd person: please keep a careful eye on the online data display.
Most problems
can be caught quickly this way.
- Please make sure that the shift checklist is done once each shift.
