keyword=Compton rates and High VoltageIn Compton run # 21700, we tried to decrease the high-voltage value to 1400 (instead of the 1500) at which I earlier saw Compton to be running. We saw the rates going down (is that obvious?); and going back up to 1500 increases the rates again.
In the posted snapshot, we started with 1400 and then decided to go check with 1500V which immediately shot-off the rate as seen in the snap.
