    keyword=Compton neutron trigger rates

    Compton neutron trigger rates with a boron hut around the lead hut: Rates are now 295kHz (HV=-1900, run 22802), whereas without the boron hut (with lead) the rate was 310kHz. The normalized rate is 6kHz/uA (from the DAQ), whereas the normalized rate was 6.2kHz/uA with just the lead hut. The rate with the high discriminator level (the stripchart rate) has also decreased from 580Hz/uA to 430Hz/uA. The boron hut may or may not have helped.
