    Followups:

    keyword=helicity checks, part I

    We checked the helicity in the Left HRS. Here's what we found and
    what we did

    1. Signals look good on a scope. Correct pattern (by eye) and
    correct timing. No double-pulsing. Of course we cannot check
    the pseudorandom pattern by eye, but the quad structure is there.

    2. Swapped the scaler. This did not help.

    At the moment we are stumped. There is a rare problem of helicity
    in the scaler. I think the thing to try next is to run the DAQ at
    the helicity rate (which will be 29 Hz this afternoon) and see if
    the problem occurs. Then check the TIR data for helicity. If the
    problem also exists in TIR, then there is a problem with the signals.
    If the problem does not exit in the TIR then there's a problem with
    the scaler or related software.
