I went in the Hall and delayed S2m by 48 ns and Gas Cerenkov by 22 ns ( initially 38 ns but I removed 16 ns to make sure we have good overlap ). The two signals are T-ed to the network scope.
I removed the delay from the old APEX gate and put the L1A as trigger source. If we ran out of time from the retiming module we can switch to front gate again, that could buy about 20 ns.
I checked the retiming the retiming signal arrives about 100 ns before the L1A with a trigger gate of 15 = 75 ns. To make sure we alway have L1A setting the timing and no forced retiming I streched the retiming signal which goes in the RT module.
I guess eventually I want to delay the RT to be after the L1A.
I found the ribbon cable for one of S2m side with damage cable and replaced it by a smaller one.
I also plugged back the calorimeter busy signal to be sent to the TS that might help in the empty FIFOs event we have last night.
We will take a bit of beam to check the calorimeter trigger timing and HRS ADC gates.
We will make another access to check the timing of the scintillator and Cerenkov. I looked quickly at the delay module output, S2m signals were looking Ok, I was puzzled by the gas cerenkov signal, it looked inverted, and seems to be inverted at the 800 ns delay box output too. I did not check right after the NIM to ECN converter but looking at the ribbon cable color it seemed to be right.
