    The pattern sync problem is as follows. The helicity scaler requires three signals and after reviewing the raw data further it was discovered that we were missing the pattern sunc (known as the QTR).

    Even though it is not absolutely essential to have this, it is essential to have this for online analysis. Since an ~15 minute access was all that was needed to fix this it was decided to go into the hall and fix this.

    The data already on tape is OK. I REPEAT THE DATA TAKEN OVER THE PAST DAY IS OK, it will just be harder to analyze.
