I found a note that seemed to indicate a threshold of 80mV for the lead voltage drops and 3.5V for the coils. Checking these I found the leads set to 70mV, one coil set to about 2.3V, and the other coil at 3.5V. I adjusted the lead thresholds to 80mV and set both coils at 3.5V. Unfortunately I forgot to bring a scope along to look at the noise on the sense lines. I slightly increased the lead flows so that the top of the steel indicator is just up to 30 on the visual gauges. Looking at the Left Arm this is about the same. So, I set the dipole current to 1000A. After it reaches there I would suggest taking it up a little at a time.
