Actually the scaler in ROC 2 has the fast clock connected to it, which is
used a synchronization signal to ensure the ROCs are synched together.
Alexandre prepared the signals and crl codes over a week ago.
I did find in the ROC2 boot script sfi2.boot, these lines:

The first line is to readout the scaler in the sfi crate. The others are
code used to treat the 1877s as scalers. I have no idea why this in the
ROC 2 boot script. Perhaps it is interfering with the scaler in ROC 2?
