08:00 Moved to 15 cm aluminum for optics run. Requested beam position adjustment.
08:20 Beam position adjustment seems to be taking a dreadfully long time.
08:27 Having not achieved an acceptable beam position, Jack and Co. have arrived to work on the unmovable spectrometers. Called for a Controlled Access.
08:37 ARM arrived to survey the hall for unescorted Controlled Access.
10:00 Jack, Howard in the hall working on the spectrometer motion. Vince is in the hall working on the coincidence trigger. The HRS right high voltage is still intermittantly drifting causing an alarm (short lived). The data from Owl shift is almost replayed, but we have some readout warnings (see entries in log).
10:15 Caught up with Owl shift replay! It looks like sieve slit data.
10:36 HRS-L VDC high voltage is the cause of most of the transient alarms. It is drifting a bit low, but recovers on its own.
13:00 Well, it's been a quiet morning in the counting house. Howard et al. are still working on the spectrometer motion, but the shift checklist is done. Work is being done on the dead-time issues.
14:20 Still working, apparently. We have received no update on the spectrometer situation in the counting house, and the guys are still beavering away at the dead-time issue.
16:00 Shift finished with work begin done on both the spectrometer motion and the dead time. Neither have been resolved at the end of shift.
