Posts by TO's in the electronic logbook have been, in general, paltry and barely useful, with the exception of notifications that the target has moved. We need to work on that.
Minimum, twice a shift, please post an entry like #379618, showing 1. Polarization over some significant time scale 2. An estimate of how fast the polarization is falling 3. Information on tuning (optimal frequency, etc.)
Also, if you notice anything that might be of help to future operators-- please post that as well (ie. you noticed a rapid change over 10's of minutes of the optimum frequency for polarization, that the liquid level has been oscillating more than usual, whatever)
For a good example of the sort of posting habits that are useful for monitoring and troubleshoot the experiment, please see Rondon's target posts for 4/25 and 4/26 (both swing shifts).
There is now a post it note on the screen reminding TO's of the sort of information that it is useful to post.
Thanks for the hard work.
