keyword=elastic strips and s2m selectioneffect of cutting paddles on the elastic peak can be seen in the attached images. the cut was selecting ONLY events in S2[7] && S2[8]
need to be sure that the appearing strip is the real one and not just an artifact of the cut.
the ratio in the number of events is about 1/20
