    keyword=reals vs. PID cuts

    Some worry has been expressed whether PID cut is really cutting PID.
    Plots below explore this. Top plot: shows corrected time. Black histogram:
    cut on protons in beta vs. mean ADC. Red histogram: cut on what we
    believe are pions.
    .
    Bottom plot: same, except includes cut on reaction-vertex two-arm
    difference. Interesting that a peak appears in the pion-ID spectrum near
    channel 160. Plausible if we believe that (see log entry 42834) earlier
    kinematics had pion peak in corrected time. We are set for much
    lower hadron momentum now, so while pion flight time would not
    change much, proton flight time would.
    .
    To confirm would need to know a) if trigger timing changed (otherwise
    why would pions move and not protons) and b) which is the stop and
    start for this corrected time.
