keyword=computer deadtime estimate in databaseLooked at the computer deadtime estimate in the database for all the runs longer than 5 minutes. Mostly looks like a fixed deadtime system (deadtime proportional to observed rate) but it is clear tha is not the entire story.
the estimate in the data base is calculated from the observed total trigger rate, all the individual trigger rates and the pre-scales. Note: no selection criteria was placed on kinematics, run-type, target, etc. The data therefore represent a huge variety of conditions. The slope is the result of a linear least squares fit.
