    MCC phoned announcing RF problems. Beam off. Ended run.

    09:17....MCC called to say the operators cannot fix the problem and they called in the experts to do it. In other words, at least another hour or more of beam off. If this is not enough, the counting room is getting hotter by the minute. Can somebody arrange for a lower thermostat setting in the next room? Or a mirror film on the doors to prevent direct sun from heating up the counting room?

    10:27....MCC phoned to inform us that the experts are still trying to diagnose the problem. No update yet. However, the operators did complete the spot exercise to try and increase the current when, and if, the machine comes back on line.

    11:04...MCC informs us beam is back. They can give us 75 uA and they will adjust quantum efficiency every hour to keep it at that level.

    Note that runs 2211-2212 are cosmic ray runs.
    Prescale factors were left at values set for comsic ray runs. Deadtime in the high 90%'s resulted in a very fast run of six minute duration.
