    08:05-08:25 Beam off for gp>pi0p test. Test aborted due to problems with radiator control at MCC. See Ron's entry 51927.

    08:30 Start controlled access.

    Left HRS: Q2,Q3 cycled to 1600A and momentum set to 3.8086 GeV/c.
    Changed FPP chamber 4 HV from channel 8.1.8 to 8.1.16.
    Bogdan made some adjustments to the S1,S2 set HV.
    Test with cosmics run 1245. All OK.
    Left HRS moved to 19.345 degrees - floor mark 19.5 reads vernier +9.7. This differs from the desired 19.376 by about 0.03 degrees.
    Calorimeter now at 9m+/-1cm and 51.44+/-0.02 degrees.
    Now set up for Q2=5.6.

    Carbon foil target now in.

    Run 1247 - Carbon pointing run.
    Run 1248 - HARP scan - data file # 1166.
