    I didn't think about this until the end of my shift, so here I
    pass it along... the following might be worth a 10 minute run.
    Reduce the beam current to 10 microamps and reduce singles pre-
    scale factors so that you can take 50K events quickly. Then,
    to analyze, you can use the old, clunky "ha_analyzer":
    Login to adaqh2 (HP) as "adaq", type "goonlana" to go to
    correct directory, type "ha_analyzer" and answer questions.
    (You can type "last_run" to find latest run location, you
    must enter full-path-name as one of the answers).
    Analyze 50K, then in paw use a kumac like vdc_2992.kumac
    (appropriately modified). If the efficiency is near 1.0, you
    know there is no lasting chamber problem.
