    keyword=Right Arm portserver, etc.

    Looking at the high voltage interface trouble on the right arm we found a few things
    wrong. We could not telnet into the portserver, hatsv3. However, the RS232
    sessions running for TS0 and ROC1 were still functional. I killed the TS0 connection
    and tried to reestablish it. I could not. I rebooted the Arcnet interface IOC. It takes
    a long time to come back up, but it did. We called for an access to the Shield House.
    Then, I noticed the HV crates were "off" on the display. I clicked "on" and the
    voltages came back up. Now, one of the 1458 mainframes was reset during the
    confusion. This will bring it back up with the high voltage "off". However, the
    question remains, why the second 1458 was "off" and the portserver in a strange
    state? On the access we cycled power on the portserver. The connections were
    re-established. If this happens again: check if you can telnet into the portserver,
    reboot the "Arcnet ( high voltage controller )" from the "Crate Resets" display
    screen, determine if the high voltage crates come back up "on" or "off". It may be
    that one device is failing and a spike on the AC power line is affecting the other
    devices.
