    Performed EPR at 15:00 hrs

    Conditions: Cell position: pol 3He, laser #6 on, beam: off, trans. grad coil: 6.00 A,
    long. grad. coil: -3.00 A (reverse)

    EPR Sweep: failed

    Called Xiaochao.

    15:50 hrs: Next sweep after adjustment of electronics. Conditions as above.

    EPR Sweep: worked

    P = 38.96%

    frequency shift down: -46.91 +/- 1.36 KHz
    frequency shift up: 46.68 +/- 1.64 KHz
    polarization down: -38.96% +/-1.13%
    polarization up: 38.77% +/- 1.36%

    It appears that we are running in pretty stable conditions and the effect of
    the larger trans. grad coil current is small (if it had an effect at all?).
    If there is no change in about four hours (after the next EPR), we might
    want to start lowering the long. grad. coil current (from -3.00 A to -2.00 A).

    Given the present conditions we should be able to switch to the 180 deg
    configuration tomorrow morning.
