We adjusted by hand around pulse-pair 25000, again around pulse-pair 50000
(two quick adjustments), then again around 90000; the smooth changes between pulse-pair 25000 and 50000, when the asymmetry moves from around +150 ppm to -600 ppm are unrelated to changes in the rotatable half-wave plate, but
instead is an example of the "natural" drifts we are trying to chase.
