keyword=charge asymmetry changes
Here is the charge asymmetry from the last run (902/1722/20722) with no
adjustments in the rotatable half-wave plate, showing what appears to
be cyclic changes, that average to near zero (in this case - we were
lucky) ...
A new mystery:
qasy analysis of this run (run 722, left arm) gives about +52 ppm
qasy analysis of this run (run 20722, right arm) gives about +47 ppm
apar analysis of entire run gives (run 902) +15 ppm (not surprised that it is
different than the above, since it cuts differently on beam-off events)
*however*
the chkfeedback script returns -116 ppm for this same run, which is
what then gets loaded to the rotatable 1/2 wave plate by the feedback:
Why does "chkfeedback" differ from "apar" analysis by hand?
Looks like there are some binning effects in "root" - see the odd/even
channel effect in the charge asymmetry histogram for this run...
